Yaoqi (David) Guo not only does he love his job, but he brings a passion to the gaming world that few in his industry rival. Starting out selling media management software and developing cyber security notifications, it took Guo a while to find his passion and he’s glad he finally did. Here, we sit down with the gaming mogul to learn more about his work.
What made you decide that you wanted to get into the gaming industry?
As a gamer, I realized that many game companies don’t prioritize customer experience and satisfaction, and I wanted to change that. A best games inc.we design our games with the user in mind, allowing players to make friends and become part of gaming communities.
What advice would you give to someone looking to move up in the gaming industry?
At TGI, I believe that our employees must work quickly to implement solutions, and I would give that advice to anyone in the gaming industry. When you see a problem, work fast to find a way to improve it. Don’t be afraid to look for problems – identifying areas for improvement is the only way to create the best possible customer experience.
Tell us about what you’re doing at best games inc.
We started in 2015. As an independent mobile app game developer, we are proud to have over a hundred million players worldwide. Currently, we are looking to release three new titles next year. We pride ourselves on quickly releasing new games and keeping the customer experience at the forefront of everything we do. Our development team uses science to validate opinions and make decisions that positively affect our customers, and we pride ourselves on using a responsible marketing initiative to let our target market know what we have to offer.
What makes a great video game?
We think it’s key to stay user-centric, and the game has to be great from a player’s perspective, not just a designer’s perspective. This means that while games should be entertaining and fun, they should also provide our users with a simple and hassle-free experience.
It recently won the NYX Game Awards. What has this meant for your company?
We are extremely honored and over the moon with what this means for both our company and our customers. This award really goes to our players; without them, we would be nothing. the NYX Game Award helps boost our brand reputation, making new customers more likely to be interested in seeing what it is we have to offer. We are harnessing the momentum of the award and running with it; we can’t wait to create amazing games that our users will love for years to come.
