Destiny 2 Season 18 aliases, Season of the Plunder, is a pirate-themed season where you seek out pirate lords, fight off invading pirate ships, and loot pirate treasures. However, it’s still a season of Destiny 2, and like every new season, there are a host of new resources to farm.

The rarest seasonal resource this time around is called Reputation, and you can only earn a small amount each week. If you’re new to Destiny 2 and have no idea how to farm this valuable resource, don’t worry. Here is our guide explaining how to gain reputation in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.

How to Get Reputation in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder

You can earn Reputation by progressing through the “Sails of the Ship Stealer” weekly seasonal quest and completing the weekly seasonal challenges. Sadly, these are the only ways to gain reputation in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder, as of this writing.

While you can only earn a limited amount of reputation each week, the tasks required to earn it are fairly simple. Even the week one challenges that reward reputation are very easy to complete. Fortunately, this means you won’t have a problem gaining reputation every week if you’re consistent.

You will need reputation to upgrade the star chart on the helm. The Star Map has three different sections: Quartermaster, Navigator, and Swordsman, where you can spend your hard-earned reputation.

Investing Reptune in any of the sections will give you unique gameplay advantages. For example, the first Quartermaster section upgrade will give you a slightly increased reload speed during Ketchcrash and Expedition.

While the first update to the Navigator section will give slightly more precision damage to Ketchcrash and Expedition. Choose your poison wisely. That concludes our guide on how to gain reputation in Destiny 2 Season of the Plunder.
