The reigning F1 world champion’s ninth win of the season puts him 93 points clear at the top of the standings from Red Bull’s closest rival and team-mate Sergio Perez.
Charles Leclerc and Ferrari will be hoping to bounce back from another tough race, having dropped to sixth due to a five-second speeding penalty in the pitlane at the end of the Spa race while looking for new tires to target the bonus point for lap faster.
Off the track, the Dutch GP will be the first time the F1 paddock has reconvened following the outcome of F1’s Contract Recognition Board hearing on Oscar Piastri’s future between Alpine and McLaren.
That could have an impact on the latest F1 driving market saga, with Pierre Gasly linked with a switch to Alpine during the Belgian GP weekend.

How can I watch Formula 1?
In the UK, Formula 1 is only broadcast live on Sky Sports, with highlights shown on Channel 4 several hours after the race has finished. Live streaming via NOW is also available in the UK.
Sky Sports F1, which broadcasts F1 races, can be added as part of the Sky Sports channels, which costs £20 a month for new customers. Sky Sports can also be accessed through NOW with a one-off payment of £11.98p or a monthly membership of £33.99p per month.
Fans wanting to watch the race for free will have to wait until Saturday afternoon (qualifying) or Sunday afternoon (race) to catch the highlights on Channel 4.
