FCI Category 3 Recruitment Notification for 2022: Food Corporation of India (FCI) will soon post the notification for the recruitment of category 3 positions on its website. Vacancies will be filled for the position of Assistant Grade 3 (AG-III), Junior Engineer (JE), Typist, Assistant Grade 2 (AG – II), and Stenographer Grade 2 (Steno Grade II). FCI category 3 notification is expected in September 2022.
Around 2,521 vacancies are expected to be filled in Category 3 for the North Zone, East Zone, West Zone, South Zone, and Northeast Zone. Candidates must apply for FCI Recruitment within the established period. Applications will be invited on the official FCI website, i.e. recruitmentfci.in.

FCI category 3 eligibility criteria
Educational Qualification:
- AG-III (Technical) – The candidate must be a Graduate in Agriculture/ Botany/ Zoology/ Biotechnology/ Food, etc.
- AG-III (General) – The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and must have Computer Knowledge
- AG-III (Accounts) – Must have B.Com and computer skills
- AG-III (Deposit) – The candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree and have Computer Knowledge
- JE (EME) – Candidate has a Bachelor of EE/ME Eng. OR (Diploma + 1 Year Exp.)
- JE (Civil) – The candidate has a degree in Civil Engineering. OR (Diploma + 1 Year Exp.)
- Typist (Hindi): Candidate must be a graduate and have a speed of 30 words per minute in Hindi AG-II Typist (Hindi): Graduated with Hindi and 1 year experience. english translation
- Steno Grade-II – Graduated + DOEACC ‘O’ Level + Typing + Steno
FCI category 3 selection process
The selection will be made based on:
- Written exam (Prelims and/or Mains)
- Skill Test / Type Test (if required for the position)
- Document verification
- Medical exam
