Sweet Home is one of the most popular Netflix K-dramas to date. Although not as popular as squid Game, fans can’t wait to see Sweet Home Season 2 on Netflix.

Sweet Home Season 2 Is Happening
Sweet Home premiered on Netflix in December 2020. While there were rumors about Sweet Home season 2 for a long time, nothing was officially announced until June 2022. Netflix officially renewed the series for a second season. At the time, we really didn’t know what was next for Sweet Home or when we would see season 2, but Netflix also shared some bigger news during the summer of 2022.
Netflix also renewed Sweet Home for season 3
Whenever Sweet Home Season 2 is released, we know it won’t be the last season of the series! renewed netflix Sweet Home for season 3 and announced the renewal on the same day it announced the second season.
That is obviously very good news. For one thing, Netflix is doing more Sweet Home, which is a win for all. And, two, Netflix renewed the series for two seasons at the same time, which in theory should shorten the time between the two seasons. Hopefully, we’re not waiting two or three years between seasons 2 and 3 like we did for seasons 1 and 2.
Has Netflix announced the Sweet Home season 2 release date?
Netflix has not announced the official release date of Sweet Home season 2 yet, but in early 2023, Netflix announced the list of K-dramas coming this year, and Sweet Home Season 2 was on the list.
Later, Netflix confirmed Sweet Home season 2 will arrive in Q4 2023. That means we’ll see the new season sometime between October and the end of the year. We originally thought it would be coming to Netflix in December 2023, but we’re moving that release prediction up a few months after learning new information.
In May 2023, Netflix announced many of the shows and movies in its Fall 2023 lineup. In that list, Netflix included Sweet Home season 2, which means the new season will arrive sometime in October or November. Previously, the streamer announced the Q4 release window, so it rules out September, but we could see the new season in October 2023.
Right now, the only big Netflix show we know is coming in October is Lupine season 3. Netflix may want to keep those shows separate, but it’s not like they’re in the same genre or anything.
Also, we know that Netflix likes to release horror shows during the month of October, around Halloween. That’s our new launch prediction for Sweet Home season 2.
