Utah State Football has eight games selected for national broadcast this fall, including three Friday broadcasts

LOGAN, Utah – Utah State football will have eight nationally televised games this fall, including three on Friday, as the Mountain West announced its national television package on Wednesday.

Utah State will have six games televised on CBS Sports Network, including two at home at Merlin Olsen Field at Maverik Stadium, and two games televised on Fox Sports, both of which will be away games.

During the non-conference portion of their schedule, Utah State will open their season on Fox Sports 1 in Iowa on Saturday, September 2 at 10 am (MT), while their game at UConn on Saturday, September 30 will be televised on CBS Sports Network at 10 a.m. (MT).

Six of Utah State’s eight Mountain West games will be televised on CBS Sports Network or Fox Sports Networks, which includes three games to be played on Friday.

In total, Utah State will have five Mountain West games broadcast nationally on CBS Sports Network, beginning with its conference opener on Air Force on Friday, September 15 at 6 p.m. USU’s home game against Fresno State it was also moved up one day as the Aggies will host the Bulldogs on Friday, October 13 at 6 p.m. AND USU’s regular season finale in New Mexico will be played on Friday, November 24 at 1:30 p.m.

Utah State will also have a pair of Saturday games on CBS Sports Network this fall, as it will play San Jose State on Saturday, October 21 at 5 pm (MT) and host Boise State in its home finale on Saturday, October 2. November. 18, at 17 pm

Additionally, Utah State’s game at San Diego State on Saturday, November 4 will be televised on Fox Sports Networks. The start time and specific broadcast information for this game will be announced at a later date.

Broadcast information for the remainder of Utah State’s 2023 schedule, including home games against Idaho State on Saturday, September 9, James Madison on Saturday, September 23, Colorado State on Saturday, October 7, and Nevada on Saturday, November 1. 11, will be announced later this summer.

Mountain West’s 2023 season will feature a single-division format for the first time since 2012, with the two teams with the highest winning percentage in the Conference competing in the championship game. The MW Championship game is scheduled for Saturday, December 2. The game will be televised live on Fox at 1 pm (MT).
