Wyoming football games will be featured on national television nine times in the 2023 season

LaraWed, Wyoming (May 31, 2023) — The Mountain West Conference and its television partners, CBS Sports Networks and FOX Sports Networks, announced the 2023 Mountain West football television schedule Wednesday. The Wyoming Cowboys will be televised on national television nine times.

Highlights of the schedule will be a nationally televised game on CBS to kick off the season against Big 12 opponent Texas Tech on September 2 and a Friday night “Border War” against Colorado State. on Friday, November 3.

Televised games on CBS and CBS Sports Network

Wyoming’s season opener on Saturday, September 2 will be nationally televised on CBS, one of three MW games to air on CBS during the 2023 season. That game will kick off at Wyoming’s War Memorial Stadium at 5 :30 pm, mountain time.

Wyoming will have four of its games televised on CBS Sports Network, including home games against Appalachian State on Saturday, September 23 at 5 p.m. and Colorado State on Friday, November 3 at 6 p.m. The “Border War” vs. CSU It’s the only UW home game on a Friday night this season.

The Cowboys’ two road games on CBS Sports Network will be Saturday, October 14 at Air Force at 5 pm and Saturday, November 25 in Nevada at 7 pm, MT (6 pm PT).

Games televised on FOX Sports Network

Three Cowboys games will be televised on FOX Sports Networks. UW’s home game against Fresno State on Saturday, October 7 and their road game at Boise State on Saturday, October 28 will be televised on one of the FOX sports networks. Mountain West will announce the exact FOX Sports Network and times for those two games during the season.

Wyoming’s third game to be televised on FOX Sports Networks will be a road game at UNLV on Friday, November 10. The game will be televised on FS1 at 8:45 pm MT (7:45 pm PT). It is the only road game in Wyoming on a Friday night in the upcoming season.

Road Game in Texas to be televised on Longhorn Network

UW’s only non-conference game will be televised by Big 12 television partner, the Longhorn Network. That game will kick off at 6 p.m. Mountain Time (7 p.m. Central Time) from Austin, Texas.

Future game schedules and TV information to be released in the future

Game time and TV information for three Wyoming home games will be announced in the near future. Those three games include the Saturday, September 9 home game against Portland State, the Saturday, September 30 home game against New Mexico, and the Saturday, November 18 home game against Hawai’i.

Ticket prices

With season ticket prices as low as $170 for adults, fans can attend seven Cowboys home games for a low price of less than $25 per game. Purchasing season tickets for the 2023 season will save fans a significant amount compared to purchasing tickets for a single game.
